Fortune cookies

Fortune cookies — the online card where they crack three cookies and unroll your message

Giftable’s fortune cookies are an online card with three cookies on a lacquered tray: they tap to crack each one, read a fortune on its paper slip, then unroll your message with lucky numbers from their name. Free to send as is; extras from €1.

What to prepare

  • Their name — it heads the order ticket and the greeting
  • Your name, signed under the main fortune
  • The message, or keep the ready greeting for the occasion
  • Up to 3 fortunes for the cookies, or keep the ready ones
  • No photos, no date, no address — nothing else to prepare

What it fits

Questions and answers

Do I have to write the fortunes myself?

No. Each occasion — birthday, holidays, new job, graduation, farewell or just because — comes with its own greeting and three short fortunes, so you type two names and send it as is. If you like, rewrite the message and any of the three fortunes. The card takes no photos, no date and no address.

Where do the lucky numbers come from?

They are five numbers from 1 to 49 calculated from the recipient’s name: the same name always gets the same numbers, on any phone and in any language. Leave that name empty and they come from yours. They are the cookies’ wink, not a lottery tip.

How do they reply, and what does it cost?

The last screen offers three reactions — I’ll keep it, came true already, and a third one for the occasion. Before sending you can replace them with your own single-choice, multiple-choice or short-text questions. Their answer is saved and comes back to you as a reply to your Giftable. Building and previewing are free; sending it as is is free too, and extras such as a file start from €1.
